A new international reference series for occupational health and safety

If you have questions such as:
Where can I get reliable, unbiased, and comprehensive information about the health effects of chemicals?
What are relevant threshold values currently recommended for occupational toxicants?
Where can I find comprehensive reviews of toxicological studies and data?
How can harmful chemicals be monitored at the workplace?
How can the individual exposure of employees be monitored?
What are the health implications of monitoring results?

You will find the answers here::
The new international reference series
The MAK-Collection for Occupational Health and Safety
addresses all these information needs.

All volumes provide comprehensive, objective and authoritative information for occupational health and safety professionals and researchers. They document both the toxicological substantiation of threshold values for chemicals at the workplace (MAK and BAT values) as well as the detailed protocols of suitable monitoring methods. Providing detailed information for the evaluation and monitoring of chemicals, they are an indispensable tool for maintaining occupational health and safety.

The documentations and methods are unbiased and authoritative, because they were compiled by the Commission for the Investigation of Health Hazards of Chemical Compounds in the Work Area of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation). The Commission is internationally acknowledged for its neutrality and its working strictly according to transparent, scientific criteria. MAK values set the standards for legal regulations in many countries around the world, for example they form the basis for at least 30 % of the threshold limits valid in the European Union and are also frequently referred to in Asia. MAK Value Documentations are currently being translated into Chinese.

The series comprises four parts as a continuation of four previously independent series:
MAK Value Documentations - Part I
BAT Value Documentations - Part II
Air Monitoring Methods - Part III
Biomonitoring Methods - Part IV

... MAK is all you need.
